Why does the United States and other western nations feel it is important to interfere in other nations? There are events in the western world and actions against human rights in the western world that Islamic, Asian and African nations don't care about. But the old colonisers are once again interefering and trying to prevent nations like Iran, North Korea and Venezuela from developing. Why can't the U.S and its colonising allies just leave the world alone, why do they support one nation in acts against terrorism and sanctions other that have been alleged? When a death sentence is taking place in recent years like Nigeria, Iran or Saudi Arabia and the U.S feels it is their situation and they disrespect values and beliefs but these very nations didn't interfere when elections happen in the U.S or when innocent people were going to get the death penalty in Texas.

How did European nations view the American constitution soon after it was written? Is it true that: "When European nations viewed the fledgling America and their dirty Constitution, it was accused as an extra liberal secular document because it doesn’t contain the authority of God ordaining who leads the nation. Instead, power was granted by the “people” (some blogger). In a way, this makes sense if one thinks about the mindset of that era. Thank you for taking the time to look at my question.

How can nations be well governed without the need for politicians? True statesmen are rare. What we have now everywhere are two-bit politicians who do not have the interests of citizens in heart. Most of them are autocratic, corrupt and self-serving. They are the cause of all ills within nations and without. What we need now is a system of government run by citizens without the need for politicians. A government by the people, for the people and of the people -- minus the politicians. Surely, the technological advances we have today can be used to create such a system, if only we take the time to explore this seriously.

What is the relationship of the US to other nations and to world affairs? Passage: It is a distressing and oppressive duty, gentlemen of the Congress, which I have performed in thus addressing you. There are, it may be, many months of fiery trial and sacrifice ahead of us. It is a fearful thing to lead this great peaceful people into war, into the most terrible and disastrous of all wars, civilization itself seeming to be in the balance. But the right is more precious than peace, and we shall fight for the things which we have always carried nearest our hearts -- for democracy, for the right of those who submit to authority to have a voice in their own governments, for the rights and liberties of small nations, for a universal dominion of right by such a concert of free peoples as shall bring peace and safety to all nations and make the world itself at last free. To such a task we can dedicate our lives and our fortunes, everything that we are and everything that we have, with the pride of those who know that the day has come when America is privileged to spend her blood and her might for the principles that gave her birth and happiness and the peace which she has treasured. God helping her, she can do no other. " Can someone please tell me what this means? What his point in his message is? THANK YOU

I know what the legalities are concerning international terrorism. The question in based on the fact that I see many people who will condemn a nation for attacking terrorism agressively, while making excuses for the actual terrorists themselves. Maybe excuses isn't the right term, perhaps I should say turning a blind eye to terrorist activity and dogma. I have a very strong opinion on this subject, so I am looking for someone to tell me what to think. I am just curious about other people's opinions. The statement should read I am not looking for someone to tell me what to think.

When did nations stop conquering each other? I've read about wars between rival nations for territory, and how this nation gave up so much territory because it lost the war. The Romans made an empire, the Mongols made an empire, the Ottomans made an empire. But today you don't have countries going to war with each other and taking each other's lands. No countries are making empires today. And nobody tell me the war in Iraq is really a war, it's just a series of skirmishes. When did the conquering stop and boundaries became absolute?

Do Japanese feel closer to Germans than to other nations of Europe? Admittedly, one cannot know a people merely from watching anime - but in the few I've seen, if they have any "diversity" at all, it is from a half-Japanese, half-German character. The only exception is in Ouran Host Club, where they have a half-French character. Do Japanese have a softer spot for Germans in general since they were allies in the last world war? Or, are there similarities between the cultures that would make Japanese feel more comfortable imagining a German/Japanese couple? Do they think Germans are more attractive than the other nations?

Historically the subsidies provided by the US and EU to farmers has allowed their farmers to be the only ones competitive. Is the United States contempt for the United Nations the biggest scandal of all? The USA Government continues to be contemptuous of the United Nations thus undermining the credibility and influence of the UN. But the US has over all too many years failed to support the UN financially to the extent that it could and should. The scandal is that America is frighteningly willing to spend billions of dollars on war, but unwilling to spend a fraction of that on peace. The UN gives peace a chance - but the US prefers the sword and treats the UN with contempt. How sad and contemptible is this?
